Patrons can play the Tour de Stark County District Library and have a chance to win one of 10 Kindles or a Grand Prize Kindle Fire.
In order to have a chance to win, stop by any library location and checkout library materials for one chance to win. Then, perform one of the easy tasks for that branch to receive three additional chances. Visit StarkLibrary.org and click on the Tour de SCDL icon for contest rules and tasks. Customers may win only one Kindle.
All non-winning tickets will be entered into a final drawing to win the Grand Prize, a Kindle Fire.
Winners will be drawn at a Tour Finale at the Main Library, 715 Market Avenue N, on Saturday, April 14 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  News-Talk 1480 WHBC and Mix 94.1 will be giving away two additional Kindles on Friday, April 6 and Friday, April 13. For early chances to win, visit whbc.com or mix941.com.
Visit any library location Monday, April 9 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and join one of the Kindle Download Parties. Learn how to get free library materials for an eReader. Children will be welcome to do a Make It-Take It craft at all library locations during the week as well.
Additionally, the library will host a Community Health Fair in partnership with Mercy Medical Center on Thursday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eleven departments from Mercy as well as 17 other healthcare organizations will be at the Main Library to provide free health screenings and to discuss health issues and services.
Finally, the community is invited to a Literary Dinner on Thursday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Desert Inn. Listen to stories and poetry, learn to speak key Arabic phrases and enjoy Sherena, the Desert Inn’s belly dancer. Dinner will be at the guest’s expense and donations will support the Stark County District Library Foundation. For reservations call 330-458-2645.
