• Police arrested an Edgewood Street girl, 16, at Hoover High School on a charge of assault knowingly causing harm. The suspect was taken into custody and released into the custody of a guardian.

• A Grassmere Street man, 57, reported that a known suspect sold him two stolen iPhones. The phones had an estimated total value of $1,161. An investigation is pending.

• A Canton girl, 15, was arrested at Hoover High School on charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was released to her mother with a signed promise to appear in court.

• A North Canton man, 25, was arrested during a traffic stop on Main Street and charged with driving under the influence. The suspect was originally pulled over for not having two working headlights and the officer determined the suspect to be impaired.

• An employee at an East Maple Street business reported that a known suspect entered the business, removed items from store shelves and attempted to leave without paying. The suspect was stopped by the employee, dropped the item and fled the premises before police arrived.

• A Canton woman, 29, reported that a known suspect struck her during a domestic dispute. The dispute occurred in a parking lot and an investigation into charges of assault and domestic violence is pending.

• A Canton man, 39, reported that an unknown suspect stole his wallet and credit cards at a Whipple Avenue location. The victim reported leaving the business with his wallet in a bag, which he found to have a hole in it. He reported the wallet missing and believed it fell out while at the business. An investigation is pending.

• An Orchard Avenue man, 35, reported that an unknown suspect used his debit card to make a purchase at a gas station. Two purchases totaling $212 were reported. An investigation is pending.

• A Chatham Avenue man, 71, reported that an unknown suspect forced entry into his home through the back door. The suspect then stole items including a safe and personal items, with the total loss and damages estimated at $775. An investigation is pending.

• Police arrested a Canton man, 32, at a North Main Street location on a charge of theft without consent. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A North Canton man, 30, reported that an unknown suspect broke into his home and stole multiple items of jewelry, with the total value of the items taken estimated at $910. An investigation is pending.

• An employee at an East Maple Street business reported that a known suspect removed items from the shelf, concealed the items and left the store. When the employee approached the suspect in the parking lot, the suspect drove off and a warrant was later issued for his arrest.

• A Canton man, 64, was arrested at an apartment building on a charge of violating housing code or requirements relating to an incident at a Woodside Avenue location. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

• A Minerva man, 45, was arrested at an Atlantic Boulevard location on charges of criminal trespass and theft. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• Police arrested an Aurora man, 40, in Akron on a charge of theft stemming from an incident at a Whipple Avenue business. The suspect was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A Massillon man, 38, was arrested at a Pittsburg Avenue residence on a charge of possession of drug abuse instruments. The suspect was booked into the Stark County Jail.
