St. Paul’s District Science Fair team won the School Excellence Award at the District 13 Science Day held at Mount Union College on March 31.
Each member of the team scored Superior or Excellent to win this award. Several students scored Superior for their projects and advanced to the State Science Day on May 5, at Ohio State University: Jessica Schaper, Claire Logsdon, Patrice Rutherford, and the teams of Anthony Massa and Johnathan Kungle, and Anne Meadowcroft and Ellie Schiltz.
The Massa/Kungle team was a Broadcom MASTERS nominee. In addition to being named Broadcom MASTERS nominees, The Meadowcroft/Schiltz team and Rutherford were each awarded $100 scholarships to attend the B-Wiser Science Camp at The College of Wooster in June.
