Bob Blyer’s 12-Piece Meadowbrook Big Band will present a Mother’s Day Dance on Friday, May 11, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Mayfield Senior Center, 3825 13th St. S.W. in Canton.
Music will include swing, rhumba, chacha, tango, waltz, and fox trot. Vocalists will be Kim Karam and Tom Falen.
Free carnations will be given to all ladies attending. Tickets are $10 per person in advance, and can be purchased at Pellegrino’s Music Store in Canton, Gemini Copies (6650 Wise Ave. N.W.) in North Canton, or by calling Bob Blyer at (330) 492-1983.
Table reservations may be made for groups of 4 or more. Admission will be $12 at the door.
