Loudonville High School student Izak Kaiser has been recognized as a "Commended" student by the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Corporation. He received the recognition based on his performance on the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) he took last school year. Out of 1.6 million students in the country, he scored in the top 50,000 to earn the distinction. Flanked by his parents, Kaiser was presented a plaque by John Lance, LHS principal before retiring on Oct. 1.
