An Adoption and Foster Care Information Night will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Christ Community Chapel — Aurora Campus, 252 N. Chillicothe Road, Aurora.
Ohio is facing the biggest need for foster/adoptive parents in recent history as a result of the opioid epidemic. Those attending will find out about foster care and adoption; hear from adoptive parents of all kinds and dispel some common myths about both adoption and foster care.
The information is designed to help people who are considering domestic or international adoption, fostering-to-adopt or wondering what they can do to help children in foster care.
Even those who are unable to foster or adopt, can learn simple ways to ease the burden for the families providing care. No registration is necessary.
