• Police arrested a North Canton girl, 17, at a Woodside Avenue residence on an outstanding warrant from Stark County Family Court. The suspect was taken into custody after her probation officer alerted police to the warrant.

• A Lupe Avenue woman, 34, reported that an unknown suspect used her personal information to pay for an item using a PayPal account. The victim reported the incident to police and an investigation is pending.

• A South Main Street man, 56, reported that his firearm, a 9mm pistol, was missing. The man believed that he misplaced the weapon, but was unable to locate it. An investigation is pending.

• Police arrested a North Canton man at a North Main Street location on a charge of possession of drug abuse instruments. The suspect was found to be in possession of a needle use for heroin and taken into custody.

• Police arrested a Canton woman, 36, on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court. The suspect was taken into custody and turned over to a sheriff’s deputy.

• An employee at a Cleveland Avenue business claimed that a suspect familiar with the property forced entry and stole cash in the amount of $583.28. An investigation is pending.

• An Akron man, 40, was arrested at an Applegrove Street residence on a charge of failure to disclose personal information and failure to use proper lights, brakes and reflectors for a bicycle. The suspect was booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A Hyacinth Drive man, 33, was arrested and charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and also an outstanding warrant from a previous incident. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A Lorena Street man, 47, reported that an unknown suspect committed identity fraud against him by using his personal information to purchase four cell phones. An investigation is pending.

• Police arrested a Thunderbird Circle man, 41, during a traffic stop on an outstanding warrant. The suspect was  taken into custody and turned over to a sheriff’s deputy.

• An employee at a North Canton business reported that an unknown suspect broke into a coin box at the business. The suspect damaged a lock and stole a coin machine from a laundry machine, taking $400 and causing a total of $1,600 in loss and damages. An investigation is pending.

• A Beach City man, 29, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for leaving the scene of an accident. The suspect was taken into custody and turned over to a sheriff’s deputy.

• Police arrested a Canton man, 29, on charges of felonious assault using a weapon or ordinance and resisting arrest. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A Castlewood Avenue woman, 76, was found deceased in her home after a friend requested a welfare check on her. Officers responded to the residence and found the woman to have passed away.

• Police arrested a North Canton man near the intersection of Linwood and Salway avenues on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and prohibited parking. The suspect was parked in the vehicle at the intersection for 10 minutes without moving and was found to be impaired, after which he was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.
