Enviro Fun Day

Join the fun and the workshops on bats, recycling, and composting during the Enviro Fun Day at the McKinley Presidential Library and Musuem from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 21. Make and take a pinecone bird feeder. Meet the beekeepers, Oceans Ohio and folks from Green Energy of Ohio. Educational booths throughout. You will even be able to view the short film Life of a Plastic Bag. There will be no science demonstrations this day.

Healthy Kids Day

Earth Day Celebration

Enjoy a free, family-friendly afternoon filled with environmental educational activities, nature walks, games, crafts, mock fossil digs, entertainment, giveaways and much more during an Earth Day celebration at Kent State University at Stark from 1 to 4 p.m. April 22.

History Walk

The Hoover Historical Center, 1875 East Maple St in North Canton, is partnering with Stark Parks for a History Walk on the Hoover Trail from 9 to 11 a.m. April 25. Enjoy nature and the history of local industry on this hike. During the hike, a stop at the Hoover Historical Center to take a tour of the museum. Met at the East Maple ballfields' trailhead at 9 a.m. to begin.
