Christmas on Hoover Farm

Christmas on Hoover Farm & Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides, 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 It’s officially a tradition to celebrate the holidays with a visit to the Hoover Historical Center from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 for the Christmas on Hoover Farm event, featuring horse-draw wagon rides. Ladies dressed in vintage attire baking cookies in an old-fashioned cast-iron stove, live entertainment, refreshments and a horse-drawn wagon ride (small fee for the wagon ride) top the list of activities.

Santa coming to town

Stop by MAPS Museum, 2260 International Parkway in Green, from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 to watch Santa come to town and ask him for your wish list. For more information, call 330-896-6332. Santa will return from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 9 at Jackson Township's North Park, 7660 Wales Ave. NW, where he will be taking wish-list orders and the annual lighting of the Christmas tree will be in North Park.

Frosty Frolic

Runners and walkers are invited to join the Run Canton Frosty Frolic at Stadium Park from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 9  The Frosty Frolic begins and ends on the grounds of the McKinley National Memorial with the route going through Stadium Park. This is a big race/walk and packet pickup is required in advance. Packets can be picked up 4 to 8 p.m., Dec. 7 and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 8 at 1149 Cleveland Ave. NW.
