• Police arrested a Pershing Avenue boy, 15, at the North Canton Library on charges of theft without consent and criminal trespass. The suspected was taken into custody and booked into the Faircrest Juvenile Detention Center.

• A Wise Avenue boy, 17, was arrested at a Taft Avenue location on a charge of possession of drugs. The suspect was taken into custody before being released to his mother with a signed promise to appear in court.

• A Chandler Avenue woman, 49, reported that an unknown suspect made fraudulent charges to her bank account. An investigation is pending.

• A Canton man was arrested at a Far View Road location on charges of trafficking in drugs, driving under a suspended license and driving with an expired license plate. The suspect was stopped for a moving violation and determined to be in possession of seven baggies containing drugs.

• A Cleveland man, 35, was arrested in Willowick on an outstanding warrant for an incident that occurred at a Portage Street location. Willowick police arrested the suspect, who was later transferred and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• Police arrested a North Canton man on two charges of possession of drugs following his arrest at a Taft Avenue apartment. The suspect was found inside a suspicious vehicle and was determined to be in possession of a multi-colored container with hashish inside of it.

• Two officers responded to a call regarding a Pittsburg Avenue resident who claimed to be hearing voices and refused to take her medication. The officers spoke with a caretaker, who reported the individual’s actions, and the individual was eventually transported to a local medical facility for observation.

• A Canton man, 25, was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• Police arrested a Woodrow Street man, 28, at his residence on a charge of domestic violence knowingly causing harm. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A Malvern man, 51, called police to report that his juvenile son was at the boy’s mother’s residence, where the mother was drunk and passed out, unresponsive on a couch. Officers arrived and were met by the boy, who took them to where his mother was. The father arrived on the scene and the couple reported having been in court that day regarding custody issues of the boy. The boy eventually left with his father.

• Police arrested a North Canton man after initially stopping him for failure to display a license plate. Upon inspection, the vehicle was found to have drugs inside and the suspect was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Police responded to a call regarding a verbal dispute at a Bachtel Street residence. Officers spoke with a man, 53, and woman, 55, who were having a disagreement. The woman wished to remain, but the man wanted her to leave. The woman eventually took her belongings and left the property.

• A Wise Avenue man, 23, was arrested at his residence on charges of felonious assault, domestic violence knowingly causing physical harm and using weapons while intoxicated. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A Canton man, 25, was arrested at an Easthill Street residence and charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

• A Woodrow Street woman, 28, was arrested and charged with domestic violence knowingly causing physical harm. The suspect was taken into custody and booked in the Stark County Jail.
