• Police arrested a North Canton girl, 15, at a North Main Street location on a charge of unruly juvenile offenses by way of being habitually disobedient. The suspect was released to her father with a signed promise to appear in court.

• A North Canton man was arrested during a traffic stop when he was determined to have drug abuse instruments in his possession. The man was a passenger in a car that was stopped for having fictitious license plates and after the driver was determined to have a suspended license, the passenger was found to have drugs and drug abuse instruments in his possession and was arrested.

• Police arrested a Minerva man, 45, at an Atlantic Boulevard location on charges of theft and criminal trespass. The suspect was charged in relation to an incident at an East Maple Street location and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A Pershing Avenue girl, 15, was arrested at a different Pershing Avenue residence on a misdemeanor charge of theft without consent. The suspect was taken into custody and released to a parent with a signed promise to appear in Stark County Family Court.

• A Massillon woman, 30, claimed that a known suspect rubbed up against her when he walked behind her at her work station at a North Canton business. An investigation is pending.

• Officers responded to a report of a Hoover High School student making suicidal threats. A staff member reported the threats and officers also spoke with the student’s mother. The student was transported to a local medical facility for observation.

• A Canton man, 64, was arrested on a charge of violating the housing code at a Woodside Avenue residence. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

• Officers were dispatched to an Orion Circle residence for a report of a suicidal juvenile. A friend of the juvenile reported receiving potentially suicidal messages from the juvenile, who confirmed the messages and was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation.

• Police arrested a Canton man, 32, on a charge of theft without consent stemming from an incident at a North Main Street location. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• Officers were dispatched to a Morello Street residence for a report of an injured deer. The animal was determined to be fatally injured and an officer dispatched the deer using his service pistol. The remains were released to the reportee with a deer receipt.

• The manager of a North Main Street apartment complex went to check on a resident who was known to have medical problems and found that the man had passed away. The man’s body was transported to the county morgue.

• An officer responded to an Orion Street location for a report of a sick and dying deer lying in a driveway. The animal was determined to be fatally injured and the officer dispatched the deer with his service rifle, after which the street department was notified to pick the animal’s remains up.

• An Orrville man, 24, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court. The suspect was taken into custody and turned over to a Wayne County Sheriff’s deputy.

• A Canton man, 32, reported that an unknown suspect forced open the door to his vehicle, causing damage to the vehicle. An investigation is pending.

• An Elberta Avenue woman, 29, was arrested near the intersection of Elberta Avenue and Everhard Road on charges of possession of drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was taken into custody and booked before being released with a summons to appear in court.
