• A Uniontown boy, 16, was arrested at a North Main Street location on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in Stark County Family Court and released to his parents.

• Police arrested a Lancaster Gate boy, 16, on a charge unruly juvenile offenses by being habitually disobedient. The suspect was released to his mother at his home with a signed promise to appear in court.

• Officers responded to a call from an Applegrove Street residence regarding an unresponsive adult male who was not breathing. The man was laying on the floor next to his bed and was determined to be deceased. A health aid reported finding the man and calling police. The death appeared to be from natural causes.

• Police responded to a call from a Browning Avenue woman who reported a suicidal family member. Officers arrived and found a man with his arms wrapped around a juvenile, attempting to restrain the juvenile. Officers handcuffed the juvenile, who told them he wanted to harm himself. The juvenile was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation.

• An employee at a Wilbur Drive business reported that unknown suspects spray painted a garage building and parking lot with graffiti. Reported damages were estimated to cost $120. An investigation is pending.

• A Hartville man, 24, was arrested near the intersection of Applegrove Street and School Avenue and charged with possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released at the scene.

• Officers were called to a South Valley Boulevard residence for a welfare check on an adult female. The officers were called by the woman’s brother, who was concerned she may have taken too much of her medication. The woman confirmed she had taken too much medication but said she did not want to harm herself. She did not want to be transported to a hospital for evaluation.

• A Canal Fulton woman, 19, reported that an unknown suspect entered her vehicle while it was parked at an Applegrove Street location and stole her purse and book bag. The stolen items had an estimated value of $175. An investigation is pending.

• Police arrested a Cuyahoga Falls man, 18, at a North Main Street location on a charge of possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

• A Ravenna an was arrested after his vehicle was stopped on Main Street and it was determined that he had drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and issued a summons to appear in Canton Municipal Court.

• Police arrested a Market Avenue man, 23, near the intersection of Pittsburg Avenue and Woodrow Street on an outstanding warrant. The suspect was taken into custody and turned over to a Stark County Sheriff’s deputy.

• A Knoll Street SE man, 52, reported that an unknown suspect entered his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway and stole items from inside as well as a trailer. The stolen items had a total value of $8,000 and an investigation is pending.

• An employee at a Whipple Avenue business reported that a known suspect and two other individuals attempted to make a purchase using bad checks. The checks were determined to be bad prior to the purchase and an investigation is pending.

• Police arrested an Elberta Street woman, 29, near her residence on a charge of possession of drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in Canton Municipal Court and released.
