NORTH CANTON  During special meeting held on June 29, the board approved the purchase of a new district vehicle from Liberty Ford in the amount of $26,815 plus a tag fee of $34.

Superintendent Jeff Wendorf said the district will be trading in an older truck for the new 2017 F-250 regular cab truck for an allowance of $1,000 making the final price $25,849. 

OTHER ACTIONS:

- Approved a contracted agreement with Technology Engineering Group for the purchase of wireless access at a cost of $158,100. The contract includes equipment and a three-year management and location license bundle.

- Held a public hearing to hear comments about rehiring a retired employee, Marilyn Parker. Nobody spoke for or against the rehire during the public hearing.

- Went into executive session to discuss pending or imminent court action with no action taken.
