• An Edgewood Street NE man, 70, reported that he had received repeated calls from a solicitor who attempted to sell him a home security system. The man told police he directed the solicitor to stop calling, but continued to receive calls. An investigation is pending.

• A Pershing Avenue NE man, 28, was arrested at his residence on charges of possession of drugs, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possessing drug abuse instruments. The suspect was booked into the Stark County Jail.

• Police arrested a North Canton woman, 64, at an Everhard Road location on a charge of driving under the influence. The suspect was originally stopped for speeding and was determined to be under the influence. 

• A Massillon man, 20, was arrested at a Pittsburg Avenue residence and charged with disorderly conduct by way of an offensive gesture or noise and obstructing official business. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail. 

• A Magnolia woman, 22, reported that an unknown suspect broke into and stole property from her vehicle while it was parked at an Applegrove Road location. The woman reported that $15 and her debit card were stolen from her car. An investigation is pending.

• A Batton Street man, 55, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The original incident took place on Pittsburg Avenue and the man was taken into custody at his residence. 

• A Hillcrest Avenue man, 37, reported that an unknown suspect entered his vehicle without authorization while it was parked in his driveway. The victim reported a gift card, credit cards and other items missing with a total value of $50. An investigation is pending.

• A North Canton man was arrested at a South Main Street location on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired. The suspect was driving in an erratic fashion and was pulled over by an officer, after which he was determined to be impaired.

• A Canton man, 29, was arrested at an Everhard Road location on a charge of having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in court and released into the custody of a family member. 

• A North Canton man reported that an unknown suspect shot a BB or pellet gun at a window in his Main Street business. The shot caused an estimated $75 in damage to the window and an investigation is pending.

• A Valley Drive NW man, 47, was arrested on a charge of allowing dogs or other animals to run at large. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in Canton Municipal Court and released at the scene.

• An officer stopped a Canton man while driving on Pittsburg Avenue due to a suspended license and after making the stop, determined the man to be driving while impaired by alcohol. The suspect failed numerous tests and was booked into the Stark County Jail. 

• A Canton man, 29, was arrested at a 7th Street location on an outstanding warrant for aggravated possession of drugs and was turned over to a sheriff’s deputy.

• A Harmon Street woman, 44, reported that an unknown suspect used her credit card information to make two separate purchases at a local business. An investigation is pending. 

• A Greenway Road SE man, 31, reported that an unknown suspect used a brick from his driveway to smash the rear window of his car. No entry was made into the vehicle and no items were reported missing. An investigation is pending.
