• A Willowrow Avenue NE man, 53, provided false information to an officer during a traffic stop. The suspect was arrested and charged with identity fraud, giving false information to a law enforcement officer and failure to wear a seat belt.

• A Canton man, 24, claimed that a male suspect struck him in the face with a closed fits several times, causing minor injuries. An investigation is pending.

• Police arrested a North Canton man and charged him with driving under the influence, having an open container of liquor in a moving vehicle and improperly turning at an intersection. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A Donner Avenue woman, 31, was arrested and charged with criminally endangering by knowingly exposing another to harm. The suspect was wanted on an outstanding warrant in Canton and booked into the Stark County Jail.

• A North Canton woman reported that her daughter took her car to drive without permission. The daughter was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

• A Canton man, 43, was arrested on an outstanding warrant at a North Canton residence and booked into the Stark County Jail. 

• Police arrested an Akron man, 29, at a Whipple Avenue business on an outstanding warrant stemming from an incident that took place in Summit County. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the custody of a sheriff’s deputy.

• A Redford Street man, 52, was arrested on an outstanding harassment warrant from the sheriff’s department. The suspect was detained and later turned over to a sheriff’s deputy.

• Police stopped a Canton man near the intersection of Applegrove Street and Santuary Boulevard after seeing him driving erratically. The suspect was determined to be impaired and was charged with driving under the influence and cited for speeding.

• An Akron man, 31, was arrested at a Greenway Road location and charged with possession of drugs, a misdemeanor. The suspect was issued a summons to appear in Canton Municipal Court and released at the scene.

• Police arrested a Canton woman, 60, during a traffic stop on Applegrove Street when it was discovered that she had an outstanding warrant stemming from failing to file an income tax return. The suspect was released to the custody of a sheriff’s deputy.

• An employee at a North Main Street eatery reported that a customer took a service tray after eating at the restaurant. Police were able to locate and contact the individual, who later returned the tray.

• A North Canton woman reported receiving unwanted phone calls from a solicitor. After receiving multiple calls, the woman contacted police and an investigation is pending.

• A South Main Street man was arrested at his residence on charges of possession of cocaine and driving with a suspended license. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County Jail.
