Do the MU and enjoy making Chinese New Year Kites with Diane Gibson noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. This is the year of the rooster. Stop by the Massillon Museum to celebrate the Chinese New Year and enjoy making animal zodiac kites.
The Lions Lincoln Theatre in Massillon will premiere "Saving Faith," a faith-based romantic comedy directed by independent filmaker Chip Rossetti, at 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the theater box office an hour before the movie.
Pulitzer Prize winner in town
Malone University will welcome writer Gilbert King as the keynote speaker for the Stafford Lecture at 7 p.m. Tuesday as part of the 2017 Writers Series. King is the author of “Devil in the Grove: Thurgood Marshall, the Groveland Boys, and the Dawn of a New America,” which was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 2013. King has written about the history of the death penalty for publications such as the New York Times and Washington Post. The event is in the Stewart Room of the Randall Campus Center. It is free and open to the public.
Coffee with the Chickadees
Stop by the Exploration Gateway and have Coffee with the Chickadees at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Escape the cold weather for some indoor bird watching.
