The King's birthday

The Lions Lincoln Theatre in Massillon will celebrate Elvis Presley's birthday Sunday with the world  premiere of a new documentary, "Elvis: The Legend Continues" and a live performance by an Elvis Tribute Artist. All seats are reserved and tickets are now on sale. Ticket prices are $15 and VIP seating is $30. The evening will begin with a 45 minute live performance by Elvis Tribute Artist Travis E. Albertson, including audience interaction and giveaways. Then, Producer Florin Marksteiner will be on hand for the screening of his new documentary. "Elvis: The Legend Continues" is a documentary that brings the fans closer to the King of Rock 'n' Roll. The film features a world wide league of Elvis Presley Tribute Artists together in one film. They will explain their private stories and the reasons that drive them to keep the music of Elvis Presley alive. The evening will conclude with a special moment featuring audience participation to honor and remember Elvis Presley.

Canton Symphony's String Trio

Enjoy "Symphony Land: String Trio" at Zimmerman Symphony Center 10 and 11 a.m. Jan. 11 and Jan. 14. This is the first in a series of trio performances by the Canton Symphony Orchestra. The series introduces students to the world of the symphony in a fun, interactive and musical way. Each performance focuses on a children’s book and features a different instrument family performing traditional orchestral repertoire.
