Free concerts at a variety of area settings, inside and out.

On Wednesday at the Palace Theatre, the Canton Concert Band will launch its 51st season of free Summer Sunset Concerts featuring popular, light classical, show tunes, and march music.

The band is comprised of some of the area’s finest musicians, and will be conducted by Patricia Grutzmacher, Steven Grimo, Mark Tryon, Patricia Olsson, Jeff Houston, Chris Hall, and Eric Langreder. 

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.  Lawn chairs or blankets are encouraged. Admission is free.

June 6: Palace Theatre, Canton, 7:30 p.m.

June 13: Price Park, North Canton.

June 14: Malone University, behind Johnson Center.

June 20: Constitution Park, Louisville.

June 27: Price Park, North Canton.

July 3: McKinley Monument, Canton, 8 p.m.

July 11: John Knox Presbyterian Church, Jackson Township.

July 16: Duncan Plaza, Massillon, 7:30 p.m.

July 18: Price Park, North Canton.

July 19: Malone University, 25th Street NW and Harvard Avenue.

July 25: Price Park, North Canton.

July 26: Silver Park, Alliance.

Aug. 1: Sanctuary Grande, North Canton.

Aug. 2: Faith United Methodist Church, North Canton.

In the event of inclement weather, the Price Park Concerts will be held at

Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton, and the Louisville concert will be held at

Paradise United Church of Christ.
