PLAIN TWP. A performance by comedian Michael Jr. will headline the Christian Children’s Home of Ohio's Heart for the Home Celebration benefit at First Christian Church on March 24.
Michael Jr., a co-star in the movie “War Room,” has appeared on the “Tonight Show," “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and numerous church events.
Located in Wooster, the Christian Children’s Home of Ohio provides a safe and structured environment to meet the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs of abused and neglected children from across Ohio. Children ages 6-18 live on campus and are provided with therapeutic, social, spiritual and educational opportunities.
CCHO also provides foster care services through its Encourage Foster Care program and counseling services through Encompass Christian Counseling.
The Heart for the Home Celebration serves as one of the major fundraising events for CCHO.
Doors will open for the event at 5:30 p.m. at the church at 6900 Market Ave. N. Appetizers and a silent auction will precede the program, which begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at www.ccho.org/celebration.
